As an Accounts Payable Specialist with the FTEP practice, your accounting knowledge and efficiency will make a lasting impact on clients while helping you grow in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and code high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.

  • Verify vendor accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve invoice or payment issues in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations in all AP operations.

  • Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger and assist in month-end closing activities.

  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve payment-related inquiries.

  • Assist with audits and provide documentation as required

    Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (experience will also be considered).

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or other relevant accounting roles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar tools.

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are strongly preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of GAAP principles and familiarity with standard AP processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
