Aston Carter Accounts Recievable Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description

• Support accounting functions by inputting and maintaining accurate and timely data within the ERP system.

• Verify invoice and payment accuracy within the ERP system.

• Verify expense reports and receipts.

• Work with Purchasing and vendors to ensure accuracy.

• Verify general ledger and approvals.

• Ensure vendor terms comply with working capital guidelines.

• Process timely payments to maximize discount and purchasing card opportunities.

• Reconcile credit card statements and Concur entries.

• Proactively review open items for possible issues such as unpaid invoices, purchase orders, credits, duplicate payments, etc.

• Adhere to procedural consistencies as defined by internal auditors, including invoice numbering conventions, Concur review and processing procedures, entry procedures, payment processing, etc.

• Support sales/use tax compliance and participate in collecting appropriate 1099 documentation.

• Obtain, enter, and file customer and vendor documentation according to established policies.

• Support month-end and year-end procedures, audits, and compliance.

• Provide backup support as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with AR/AP functions

  • SAP experience is required

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
