About the role!
As a CBRE LIS/LTS Technician, you will perform the daily solutions to ensure services are delivered in a safe, compliant, and timely manner. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. The main purpose of this role is to execute laboratory coordination activities including media and consumables management. The role will also perform calibration.
What You’ll Do:
Perform daily and long-range activities defined by the scope of business.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, standards, and procedures.
Assist with reviewing and updating LIS and LTS equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures.
Track and report performance on quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction.
Help with contractor specifications, problems, and issues, performance, and administration.
Confirm supply of spare parts and consumables are available.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of special equipment, systems, and controls.
Coordinate the removal of equipment requiring extensive repairs during scheduled maintenance periods.
Troubleshoot, service or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work.
Coordinate with external contractors on repairs covered by maintenance agreements.
Communicate with customer staff and outside contractors about the calibration, repair, and operation of equipment.
Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
