Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

You will be troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling CNC machinery for the mill and lathe departments. This position will evolve into a lead/supervisor role within a year to 1.5 years.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery in the mill and lathe departments.

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machinery.

• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including working with 3-phase systems, Fanuc, and Fagor controls.

• Handle mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and repairs.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Fabricate and repair industrial equipment.

• Mentor and train under the current maintenance supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting industrial machinery, preferably CNC machines.

• 5-6 years of experience in a similar role.

• Electrical skills with a focus on 60/40 electrical to mechanical.

• PLC experience in troubleshooting machines.

• Possession of own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience leading a maintenance team.

• Experience with precision gear and transmission design and manufacturing.

Work Environment

You will work the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm in a machine shop environment. The shop includes mill and lathe departments, with some areas cleaner than others, and larger milling machines that produce parts for various industries such as oil/gas, military, transportation, marine, and wind. Willingness to work overtime is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
