Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for completing work requests, maintenance projects, and operational assignments with minimal supervision. Inspects, maintains, and repairs building systems including, but not limited to HVAC, pumps, motors, electrical, water treatment, and plumbing. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, roofs, drains, windows, doors, gates, bollards, and fencing. May be required to shovel snow when necessary, move furniture, paint, hang pictures or items, or complete other small projects around the site.

• Escort vendor and ensure compliance with standard operations procedures (SOP), and coordination of external vendors and follow through on completion of assigned work. Assign work and hot work permits.

• Diagnoses and troubleshoot MEP system malfunctions to prevent catastrophic failure.

• Utilizes CMMS to manage the repair, maintenance, and installation of tools, equipment & utility systems.

• Balances routine, reactive maintenance, preventive maintenance and project work to optimally manage the needs of both the facility and the client.

• Apply GEP (Good Engineering Practice) to trouble shoot facility, equipment or system issues.

• Adhere to GMP - ensures that work order logs and documentation is completed with accurate information following GMP.

• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, etc.

• On call responsibilities will be required during an certain events within the plant. Such as plant shutdowns, floods, power outages, and other emergency events.

• Maintain proper housekeeping practices, safe and clean work environment.

• Comply with OSHA Safety Policies, regulations, and site procedures. Experience with Job Hazard Analysis and Lock out Tag out.

• Ensure 100% compliance with assigned training curriculum.

• Provide leadership on routine and non-routine maintenance activities.

• Ability to read system and engineering drawings

• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years industrial/manufacturing experience

• Demonstrate an energetic, positive, “can do” attitude.

• Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment maintenance, and operations.

• Experience with operating BMS and CMMS.

• Physical abilities include but not limited to, lifting objects up to 50lbs, able to be on feet all day, walking many miles daily throughout plant, climb steps and ladders as required by job.

• Knowledge of facility related engineering disciplines (MEP) in GMP manufacturing environment.
