Position Summary: The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for deploying sourcing strategies to support new product introductions and drive profitable growth. The position will work directly with Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Management, and Finance to ensure sourcing strategies align with top-level business goals and metrics. This individual will be a key team member ensuring that we purchase the highest quality and best value products across all commodities. The right candidate will have the ability to communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, strong attention to detail, and excel at managing multiple projects and priorities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support new product development with all Sourcing and Supply Chain tasks. Leverage current and new supplier relationships to drive cost reductions, negotiate long-term agreements, and form strategic partnerships that enhance the supplier portfolio to provide positive financial impacts and increased stability. Conduct commodity and supplier analysis to recognize and implement potential opportunities, gaps and risk analysis, and areas for efficiency gains. Research, qualify, and introduce new suppliers as necessary to support growth. Support engineering change requests with sourcing and supply chain tasks (quoting, Oracle setup, ramp up/down). Support compliance programs and requirements including but not limited to supplier TPG, country of origin, HTS, REACH, RoHS, Prop 65. Manage pre-production buying tasks through MRP to ensure successful product launch and production hand-off. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and establish material productivity strategies.
