Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in CLARION, Iowa, for an Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role, you will be playing a key part in our financial, administrative, and clerical operations. Your primary tasks will involve the accurate processing of payments, control of expenses, and reconciliation of invoices, all according to our established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing customer credit applications in a timely manner.

• Keeping precise records of customer credit.

• Reconciling vendor statements to ensure accurate accounting.

• Addressing and resolving any discrepancies in invoices.

• Managing vendor compliance by maintaining up-to-date W-9’s, COI’s, contracts, etc.

• Ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.

• Creating and maintaining various Excel spreadsheets for financial tracking.

• Overseeing the purchase order system to ensure smooth operations.

• Preparing and submitting credit applications to financial institutions.

• Handling year-end tasks such as preparing 1099s and 1096s. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to perform Check Runs efficiently

• Skill in Coding Invoices

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Experience with Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Form 1099

• Experience in Credit Card Reconciliation

• Ability to manage Credit Card Receipts effectively
