Description

We are in the market for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in the construction industry located in Rockville, Maryland. The specialist will be instrumental in maintaining our financial records, including processing invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments. This role plays a crucial part in our company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing and monitoring our incoming payments.

Responsibilities:

Process vendor payable invoices and expense reports

Processing 1099s and new vendor set-up in the Accounting Systems

Accurately entering in timesheets for submittal

Assisting with reconciliations of client invoices

Act as a liaison to the Accounting Dept. with Project Managers

Assisting with year-end audit as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

BS/BA degree is preferred

1 year experience in accounts payable

Proficient in Excel

Excellent Interpersonal skills
