Community Health Systems RN Clinic Office - GI Clinic (FT, Days) in CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee
The Registered Nurse will oversee the clinical staff and will be responsible for clinical decisions within their scope of practice. The RN may assist physicians with rounding on their hospital patient, including: patient chart notes; provide patient education, instruction, keeping the patient(s) informed, etc. The RN will assist the clinical staff with patient flow, phone calls, refills, authorization, referrals, etc. Assisting the front office staff as needed with scheduling, retrieving / filing patient records, etc. The RN will be responsible for maintaining and ordering all clinic supplies. Open communication to the Office Manager as well as the Director of Physician Practices, regarding all operations of the clinic, involving patients, staff or physicians is expected.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Education / License / Certifications:
Currently licensed in the State of Tennessee or compact state as a Registered Nurse in good standing
BLS certified
Experience / Skills:
Surgical nursing experience
Electronic Medical Record experience
Minimum of two years experience working in a medical clinic and/or hospital nursing experience
Must possess basic computer skills (email, internet, Excel, Word) and able to work independently with minimum supervision
Attention to detail and concentration
Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
