What You Will Do:
Production/Quality/Facilities team leaders engaged in layout and machine operating, powder production, powder sizing, inspection, and material preparation. The Team Lead serves as the subject matter expert and focal point for shift activities, questions, concerns and/or issues, and forwards or escalates issues and concerns to supervisors. The Team Lead is committed to all areas of quality/productivity and understands the link with these items with company profitability.
Leads the Standard Production System Tier 1 with the hourly workforce to include but not limited to: Toolbox talks, production flow, productivity, reliability, costs.
Coordinate activities in the Shipping/Receiving and Materials departments
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Process Engineering, etc to ensure timely shipment of product to customers
Work with and coordinate Shipping/Receiving and Materials organizations to ensure assigned area’s compliance with all company environmental, health and safety rules and procedures; that each employee receives the training and instruction necessary to perform their job safely and department equipment is properly maintained.
Plans, delegates assignments and trains employees.
Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives.
Tracks work in process, troubleshoots, and solves problems associated with shipments and/or assists workers in solving work problems.
Collaborates with supervisor in the evaluation of employee performance and addressing employee issues when/as they arise. May provide assistance and work-related direction in the absence of the Supervisor.
Aids in the interpreting of specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assists in assigning duties. As well as ensures compliance with all relevant work instructions.
Confers with on and off-shift supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 6:00am - 4:00pm (6th shift)
Qualifications You Must Have:
High School degree or equivalent.
Six (6) years of experience in manufacturing.
Six (6) months leading, training, or team building experience.
U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The pay range is $37.00 - $39.00 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
