Job Description

Provides administrative assistance to the Government Contracting Officer in the F-16 Program Office with the following tasks:

• Price/cost evaluation support

• Contract close-out

• Data collection/compilation/analysis

• Clerical/administrative/office operations support

• Training (procurement training, e.g., ConWrite, document preparation and pricing)

Education and Experience:

BA/BS. Desired ten years of experience in the discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD. Mandatory minimum of three years of experience in the discipline, with three years in the DoD. Desired experience using contracting systems including but not limited to Contracting Writing System (ConWrite), FedBizOpps, EDA, Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG), and AF Data Services. Recommend familiarity with the FAR, DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), Air Force FAR Supplements (AFFARS), Mandatory Procedures (MP), Informational Guidance (IG), as well as other applicable documents and regulations, systems, and guides, as required.

Knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the professional discipline being performed. Ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and process. Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines.
