RESPONSIBILITES (job description attached)

• Building and designing cost system

• Own the close cycles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with GAAP standards

• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with current and new GAAP standards and regulatory requirements

• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices and procedures across the Company

• Support the cash flow management and forecasting process. Assure effective working capital management, receivables collections, and management of vendor payment/terms

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the Company’s inventory and costing systems

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a senior accounting role

• Strong accounting background – well versed in all aspects of GAAP

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, large data analysis

• History of driving initiatives of continuous process improvements (close cycle, financial reporting, system-driven automation)

• Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems – experience in implementation a plus

• Experience with cost accounting preferred
