Your Impact As a Clinical Assistant / Orthotic Fitter, your primary responsibilities include: Clinical Support (Majority of Role): Act as an assistant to the clinicians, providing support in patient preparation, device fittings, and technical fabrication in our state of the art fab! Assist with rooming patients, scribing for clinicians, and managing inventory for our Off-the-Shelf devices to ensure smooth clinical operations. Patient Management: Support clinicians in managing patient follow-ups, ensuring accurate and complete documentation in the electronic health record system. Assist with coordinating care for prosthetic patients, monitoring case progress, and providing follow-up support as needed. Hospital Patient Care: You will be involved with direct patient care focused on supporting Orthotic fittings and adjustments under clinician supervision. Additional responsibilities include assisting with prosthetic patient education and follow-up care to optimize patient outcomes. Training & Certification Support: Opportunity to obtain the certification as an Orthotic Fitter Additional Responsibilities: Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare and other governmental regulations; compliance with blood borne and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Employee must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
