The L&OD Co-op position will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our Global Learning and Organizational Development Team in the Performance Coatings Group. This position will be responsible for providing support on training and development programs related to inclusion and diversity. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS The L&OD Co-op position will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our Global Learning and Organizational Development Team in the Performance Coatings Group. This position will be responsible for providing support on training and development programs related to inclusion and diversity. Responsibilities of the L&OD Co-op may include: Providing support to design, develop and deliver training and development programs Developing knowledge and understanding around key initiatives and priorities Perform tasks and activities that will lead to the success of training programs and projects assigned Partner with stakeholders and team members to execute tactical responsibilities Provide recommendations based on findings and knowledge gained Manage work and expectations based on priority of projects This opportunity will provide a comprehensive learning experience by gaining practical knowledge in Human Resources, Learning and Organizational Development and in our global industrial business unit. The expectation of schedule for the co-op position will be part time during the school year with the ability to transition to full time for the summer. POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources from an accredited institution Must have minimum GPA of 2.8 Must be currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university at time of co-op Preferred: Education, learning and/or certifications related to instructional design, training, or project management Prefer junior or senior class standing KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS: Required: Previous experience in human resources, customer service or related field obtained through real work experience or internships Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to maintain confidential data Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Ability to identify improvements and to continuously implement processes and systems changes Intermediate computer and technical skill Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future Preferred: Knowledge or experience with internal enterprise systems such as Taleo, Oracle, Tableau Experience with Power Automate Experience with training development platforms TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: (TIME SPENT AWAY FROM HOME OR OTHER TYPICAL OFFICE LOCATION) 5% WORK SCHEDULE: The expectation of schedule for the co-op position will be part time during the school year with the ability to transition to full time for the summer.
