Job Summary

Primary responsibilities include the development and execution of strategic and tactical sales plans for a regional foreign exchange team that are aligned with overall corporate strategy. This position has responsibility for driving and deepening client relationships and FX sales revenue as a player-coach through strong internal partnerships, prospecting, and management of the sales process. A Senior FX Sales Manager has supervisory responsibilities to oversee that the sales team meets all compliance requirements of the Swap-Dealer.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate mastery of foreign exchange market & products (including spot, forward, swaps, options & cross currency swaps)

  • Provide clients with value added consultative FX Risk Management and payment solutions (including: fx analytics, strategy, policy, implementing balance sheet and cash flow hedging programs, hedge accounting concepts and transactional fx)

  • Employ a strategic approach to business development built upon a structured sales management process

  • Assist clients and prospects to identify FX exposure, generate strategies for managing risk and then effectively execute the selected solution

  • Develop strategies for attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining talent

  • Actively seek opportunities for continual evolution and efficiency of our operations

  • Build strong relationships and engagement with the internal stakeholders and product partners

  • Adhere to supervisory responsibilities ensuring the sales team meets all compliance requirements of the Swap-Dealer.

  • Deliver excellence in customer service and trade execution

  • Maintain a quality FX pipeline in Salesforce

  • Organize and conduct client education and entertainment events

  • Contribute to a strong team orientated culture and live Key’s values

  • Strong comprehension of Risk Management in the overall business and industry context

  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

  • Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

  • Master's Degree (preferred)

Experience Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience as a corporate FX sales representative or equivalent experience (required)

  • Extensive knowledge of foreign exchange products and services and the management and mitigation of related risks (preferred)

  • Previous management experience and/or coaching experience (preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Complete NFA Associated Person Certification (already attained or ability to pass within 3 months of hire date) (required)

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) (preferred)

Tactical Skills

  • Familiarity with trading platforms such as Bloomberg, FXAll, 360T

  • Proficient with Bloomberg and Reuters

  • Salesforce and/or other Sales CRM proficiency

  • In depth knowledge of the cross-border payments industry

  • Experience in corporate foreign exchange or FinTech industry

  • Strong understanding of USGAAP

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Strong critical thinking combined with business intuition and intellectual curiosity.

  • Team player with a competitive drive to win

  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Physical Demands

  • General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

Travel

  • Routine and frequent travel to include overnight stay.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $200,000.00 to $250,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
