Job Description Rockwell Automation's Early Career Rotational Program is a 2 - 2.5 year program with multiple tracks that provides associates with the tools needed to begin developing their technical leadership and innovation skills within a global company As an associate on the Field Service Engineering - Drives or Software track, you will... Go through Rockwell Automation's Engineer in Training (EIT) Program. EIT is an entry-level program with formal classroom training, experiential learning, and work assignments. Gain experience in technical and leadership competencies through classroom training, mentoring, career planning and networking. Additionally, you will have a high level of interaction with Rockwell Automation's leaders. Be exposed to industrial automation technology that is developed within Rockwell Automation's major business segments to support The Connected Enterprise. This may include software for automation, programmable automation controllers, intelligent motor control, machine safety, process control, industrial security, cloud computing, industrial Ethernet, motion control, industrial components, variable-frequency drives, and more. Experience Rockwell Automation products across a variety of industries. Rotational Program Overview Rotation 1: Engineer in Training Program Location: Mayfield Heights, OH Specialized Training: Variable Frequency Drives or Software Rotation 2: Field Service Engineering Rotation 3: Project Design & Delivery Rotation 4: Dependent on Business Need Your Responsibilities: Start your career with a specialization in Variable Frequency Drives and Power Applications or information software and distributed applications Provide troubleshooting assistance onsite for Rockwell Automation products and technologies Identify and correct hardware failures, firmware problems and programming deficiencies, and the implementation of hardware/firmware updates and upgrades. Instruct/train customers on proper use, operation, and maintenance. Respond to customer needs, ensuring a swift and quality response while keeping relevant parties informed, sets, and maintains communication with team and customer Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs. Provide technical assistance for sales presentations to customers. Consult regarding the application of products, technologies, manufacturing processes and industry-specific applications. Build collaborative relationships and embrace the Rockwell culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required.
