Your day as a Maintenance Technician

As a new Maintenance Technician at EDEN Inc., you can expect a dynamic and engaging workday focused on ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing repair requests from staff. You'll be troubleshooting various issues, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and innovation. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, allowing for a standard workweek filled with opportunities to collaborate with a dedicated team.

Additionally, you'll participate in an on-call rotation to handle emergencies outside regular hours, ensuring our facilities remain in optimal condition. Prepare to embrace a customer-focused environment where your contributions make a real impact!

What we're looking for in a Maintenance Technician

To thrive as a Maintenance Technician at EDEN Inc., you'll need a solid foundation of skills and experience. Ideally, you should have trade and/or technical school training, along with at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic, or 3 years of pertinent experience. A comprehensive set of tools is essential for performing daily job tasks effectively. Your ability to independently troubleshoot and conduct daily repairs will be key to maintaining our facilities. Strong communication skills are vital for addressing maintenance-related work orders efficiently and collaborating with team members.

A valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less, along with an operable vehicle and proof of insurance, is required. As part of the job, you must be ready to participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent maintenance needs.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

A Maintenance Technician at EDEN Inc will need an adequate set of tools to perform daily job tasks.

Trade and/or technical school training paired with at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic preferred.

Or 3 years of relevant maintenance technician or mechanic work experience preferred.

Ability to independently troubleshoot and perform daily repairs to maintain and upkeep company facilities.

Strong communication skills are essential to address maintenance related work orders efficiently.
