As Senior Healthcare Reimbursement Analyst, you will complete a wide range of hospital-related reimbursement duties. Leveraging the latest technologies offered by Cleveland Clinic, you will oversee Medicare and Medicaid Reimbursements, which are essential for our ability to fund initiatives for research/education and improve healthcare outcomes. Our work culture, while within defined roles, strives to break silos and coordinate as one unified team.
A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with residency in Florida, Ohio OR Nevada.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Compile, analyze and file annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
Review and evaluate cost report tentative settlements, rate reviews, final settlements and audit adjustments.
Review regulatory rules and changes to determine hospital financial impacts.
Utilize and update current reimbursement models to understand related reimbursement impacts.
Assist in modeling governmental reimbursement for long range forecast and budget.
Oversee Medicare and Medicaid post-filing activities, including cost report audits, desk reviews, wage index audits and state DSH audits.
Serve as subject matter expert on month end close third-party reimbursement reconciliations, reserves and modeling.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, business or a related field and four years of experience in healthcare reimbursement OR Master's Degree and three years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and eight years of experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Certified Public Accountant (PCA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Physical Requirements:
High degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC.
Normal or corrected vision to normal range.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $27.65
Maximum hourly: $42.17
