KeyBank NA Sr Finance Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio

Location: 127 Public Square - Cleveland, Ohio 44114 This position will be responsible for helping drive the financial performance of Commercial Deposits and Core Treasury products within Enterprise Payments. This role provides critical support of Key's strategic priority of deepening and growing relationships with commercial clients across the enterprise. Strong partnering skills and effective communication are integral competencies of this position as an individual in this role will be working closely with senior leadership in both the Line of Business and Finance. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with ability to provide solutions and analysis with limited direction at times Performance Management Develops or enhances existing driver based forecast models to predict financial performance under different scenarios and reduces limitations related to qualitative overlays Owns the monthly forecast process with Line of Business partner and provides oversight to business performance versus Plan and actuals Utilizes analytics to create linkages across different client sets to provide insight into profitability and behavior across client cohorts Creates reporting to track progress relative to strategic initiatives Provides perspective on external benchmarks to business performance and strategic positioning Partner Management Partners with the Line of Business and Finance teams to provide insight and transparency into performance relative to strategic priorities and key performance metrics Presents to senior leadership on a quarterly or monthly basis with a focus on translating business driver trends to forward looking risks and opportunities Proactively reviews financials/client activity and works closely with Line of Business partners to elevate critical topics for monthly business reviews Business Operation & Optimization Provides support around month-end close including variance analysis with a particular focus on impact to future performance Reduces reporting burden by eliminating inefficient or redundant activities Continuously identifies areas where manual processes can be transformed to automated or self-service activities Supports Finance initiatives as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field) 3+ years of diverse analytical experience in Finance, preferably with exposure to banking or fintech Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively Ability to anticipate questions and proactively develop materials or analysis Strong financial acumen Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achieved Detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access and PowerPoint) Experience working with financial system reporting environments (i.e., Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, Essbase, IBM TM1 or Cognos, etc.) Willingness to learn new technical skills such as Tableau COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
