Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Supply Chain Assistantfor a distribution company in Maryville, Tennessee.

Supply Chain AssistantResponsibilities:

• SupportProcesses related to understanding customer demand by accurately gathering and transferring customer data into the ordering system.
• Createaccurate and efficient purchase orders based upon customer and supplier specifications, and understand how to make necessary adjustments for accurate order management.
• Effectively monitor inventory levels and identify any potential supply chain disruptions. Has effective communication with internal and external parties.
• Process direct shipments in the inventory system. Submit advance shipment notices and invoices to customers as needed.
• Periodically reconcile customer orders and purchase orders to suppliers to ensure system accuracy.
• Seek kaizen opportunities, and have a good understanding of PDCA Process.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.

Supply Chain AssistantQualifications:

• Must be detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills both over email correspondence and over the phone
• Must be able to follow directions and follow through on tasks given
• Must be self-driven and be comfortable with taking initiative on assigned tasks
• Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Supply Chain Assistant:

• Mon - Fri | 8 AM - 5 PM
• Full-time
• Temp-to-hire
