Job Description

To provide administrative direction, staff supervision, budgetary control, program development and evaluation of the TRIO Program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or above in counseling, education, or related field or combination of education & experience.

  • 3 years of experience in counseling, advising, or student support for underrepresented students with the objectives of retention, good grades, and graduation. This includes experience with first generation students and students with low incomes or disabilities.

  • Ability to relate to culturally diverse individuals and people with disabilities.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, knowledge of budgets, and experience with supervision, and management.

  • Knowledge of careers, post-secondary systems, financial aid, and application procedures.

  • Have knowledge of working with Native American populations.

  • Understand the mission of Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience writing and managing large public/federal grant projects.

  • Previous experience supervising a TRIO program, preferably SSS.

  • Experience in supervising staff and achieving project goals.

  • Experience in overcoming educational barriers similar to those faced by TRIO students.

  • Training on issues of poverty, diversity, and disability and how they impact education.

  • Familiarity with data collection, analysis and data-based decision making.

  • Experience in budget management.

Salary Range - $30.10 - 43.59 hourly; $62,849 - $91,016 annually
