Position Information
We are seeking an Executive Assistant II that serves as direct support for the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Associate Dean for Programmatic success, located in the College Dean's Office. Performs a variety of technical, training, planning, policy, program assessment, and administrative activities.
Essential Duties/Tasks
Coordinates daily office support activities, workflow, and calendars for two Associate Deans. Prepares written correspondence and informational documents related to college activities, primarily related to faculty and undergraduate success programs. Performs word processing, presentation, and data management activities. Oversees maintenance of all files and records related to programs managed by the Associate Deans, and manages sensitive and confidential administrative matters.• Assists in planning faculty events and coordinating logistical arrangements, including placing orders, set up, etc.• Administers and manages faculty and undergraduate success programs. Provides consultative services to Associate Deans and technical assistance in planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs.• Manages processing college program documents and routing.• Assists with faculty development leave and grants requiring university reports.Serves as information resource on administrative operational methods, processes, and procedures.• Monitors compliance with Texas A&M University and Texas A&M AgriLife policies and procedures.• Prepares comprehensive reviews of rules and policies. May assist with the development of regulations and procedures.• Coordinates administrative interaction with internal and external units.• Coordinates and assists with faculty promotion and tenure procedures, awards committee meetings, and Chairs and Professorships.Provides assistance to support staff, faculty, and students for the Dean's Office.Analyzes internal processes and operations and recommends and implements procedural or policy changes.Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:-Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.-Four years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.-Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Interpersonal and communication skills. Planning and organizational skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Knowledge of Qualtrics and InfoReady.

Salary: Compensation for this position is commensurate based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.
Flexible Work Arrangements: Flexible work schedule and remote work may be available for this position, pending employee eligibility requirements are met in accordance with AgriLife Alternate Work Location Procedures.
