Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cash Applications Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Collierville, Tennessee. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process all customer payments using various tools and systems

• Maintain and update customer credit records ensuring accuracy at all times

• Conduct daily reconciliations of multiple bank deposits

• Research and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer payments and account balances

• Regularly communicate with the Credit Department regarding any concerns or issues related to cash applications

• Perform monthly reconciliation duties in coordination with the Treasury Manager

• Manage the filing and organization of bank documents and other financial records

• Carry out approved write-offs, offsets, and re-agings as necessary

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in Cash Applications and Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrable 10 Key Skills.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes.

• Knowledge and experience in handling Electronic Remittance.

• Understanding and experience in managing Remittance.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• High level of professionalism and integrity.

• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills.
