Job Descriptions:

Sigmatech is seeking highly motivated candidates to fill a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Systems Integration Analyst position in Colorado Springs, CO. In this postion, individuals will assist in the development of operations concepts and support program oversight for HQ Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC), a component of the United States Space Force (USSF)

Duties include:

• Preparing/reviewing/analyzing/providing input on force development and operating concepts for the next generation of SDA systems to detect, characterize and report on space objects

• Authoring/analyzing/providing SDA Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for: Analysis of Alternatives (AoA); System Concepts; Capability Development Documents; Operating Concepts; System Training Plans; Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAM); Course of Action (COA) briefs; status update briefings; Program Objective Memoranda (POM) inputs, Test and Evaluation plans; USSF Concepts; USSF draft Instructions; etc.

• Assisting with portfolio management (task acceptance, routing, status monitoring and completion)

• Supporting and providing SME input in various forums, including travel when required

• Coordinating SDA exchanges with other USSF offices, services and allies

• Identifying program risks, impacts to mission and readiness

• Assessing strategic basing proposals; providing basing decision recommendations; developing site survey checklists and site survey reports; authoring/reviewing basing decision packages; supporting site survey team visits (including travel when required).

• Working with other offices and agencies to prepare/organize/support/lead Operations Integration and Mission Delivery (OIMD) Force Generation Element (FGE) updates and briefings; complete follow-on actions including meeting minutes and tracking Action Items; working across the Community of Interest to maintain and report up-to-date situational awareness and status of OIMD FGEs

• Supporting requirements modification review and recommendation processes (i.e., AF Form 1067)

• Interfacing between the respective Program Management Office (PMO) and operational community to support successful acquisition and deployment of SDA systems

• Reviewing technology maturation/insertion plans for feasibility and risk; evaluating prototypes/technology demonstrations etc. for suitability to satisfy requirements

Required Experience:

• Required: A current TS/SCI security clearance

• Required: Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree preferred (operational experience in SDA, Space Situational Awareness (SSA), Headquarters Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC), Space Delta, or sister service operations experience can be substituted for education)

• Ability to write and communicate (oral and written word) clearly and effectively

• Proficient or experienced in application of emerging concepts to system development

• Proficient or experienced in identifying and communicating interdependencies between requirements, acquisition and budgeting process

• Proficient or experienced in authoring and staffing guidance and program documents that meet DoD, USAF or USSF requirements

• Proficient or experience in working with various agencies and offices to track and report status of, and projects in development (i.e., analogous to program management)

• Proficient or experience leading, organizing or supporting working groups or Integrated Concept Teams etc.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
