Salary Range: 80000-90000

Position Overview

This Systems Administrator, referred to as an Operations Support - Technical Advisor, will provide Level 2 support to Level 1 Support Desk personnel and In-Room Technical Advisor (TA) staff. This role is primarily performed at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB) with some tasks performed on Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB).

Primary Responsibilities

Provide Systems Administrator support to operations of the Command and Control System - Consolidated (CCS-C) in all facilities at SSFB and Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) at the Backup Satellite Operations Center - Vandenberg (BSOC-V).

Activities include:

• Mission Problem Report (MPR) investigation and resolution

• Hardware removal and replacement, in coordination with Kratos engineering

• Squadron User account management (new and existing accounts)

• Housekeeping maintenance actions

• File transfers as required by users

• Classified courier support

• Log and data collection to support Kratos engineering in MPR and Deficiency Reports (DR) investigations

• Support all Kratos (Prime Contractor) Operations related meetings

• Support User meetings, as required

• In rare cases, the need to perform troubleshooting to restore operational capabilities may require working outside of normal work hours or working weekends

  Minimum Qualifications

   

  This position requires a current Security Plus certification to maintain a privileged account access to the system as well as 3-5 years of relevant experience

  Preferred Qualifications

   

  Experience with VMWare, Cisco routers and switches

  Education/Experience  

   

  Bachelors Degree in IT related or related field (desired) and 3-5 years of relevant experience

  Clearance Requirement

   

  Secret Clearance (Active) to start, upgradable to Top Secret.
