The successful candidate will possess strong supervisory skills to help manage a team of staff accountants. This position will work hand in hand with the controller and CFO and will be groomed for rapid advancement. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably within the middle market or larger companies

• Proven supervisory management experience leading a team of accounting professionals

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred

• Previous experience in a large public accounting firm highly desirable

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Excel

• Adept at learning new ERP systems

• Demonstrated experience in Month End Close processes

• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
