Atlas Asset Tagging Specialist (Digital Support Specialist) in Columbia, Maryland
Job Summary
The Asset Tagging Specialist is responsible for tagging and tracking all company assets to ensure accurate inventory records. This role involves affixing asset tags, updating databases, and conducting regular audits to maintain asset visibility and availability.
*Minimum Requirements:*
Possess physical strength, stamina and dexterity to perform site activities
Ability to travel within MD, DC, VA, and DE area
Ability to bend and stoop to be at floor level
Ability to climb a ladder and work on a roof
Should be able to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with public at large
Ability to work 8 am to 10 pm
Must have a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a MVR, and dependable transportation.
Technical Requirements:
- Familiarity with IPhone and/or IPad
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
Adhere to Atlas and site-specific safety standards.
Ability to travel to local and occasionally out of town sites, with short notice.
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to work independently and on project teams.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Atlas is seeking Field Specialists to perform digital cataloging and labeling of operational equipment for retail facilities.
Digitally catalog and label equipment.
Upload information into Client’s database project.
Work schedule can vary from week to week.
Tag all company assets with identification labels for tracking purposes.
Update asset databases with accurate information on asset location and status.
Conduct routine audits to verify the accuracy of asset records.
Assist in the disposal or transfer of assets as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure asset tracking procedures are followed.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in asset management practices.
