  • Radio Frequency Analysis: Study, analyze, review, and advise the Program Office on radio frequency parameters to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Spectrum Supportability: Research and analyze supportable frequency bands, develop spectrum supportability plans, and contribute to the Spectrum Supportability Risk Assessment.
  • Technical Reporting: Review, study, and advise on technical reports, DD 1494 Forms, and El-CID requests for spectrum certification.
  • Frequency Allocation: Analyze frequency allocation requests and submit SDS spectrum systems frequency allocation applications to secure necessary approvals.

  • Combined experience in electrical engineering and spectrum certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience processing spectrum certification actions at a federal department level.
  • Experience with Spectrum XXI or Spectrum Certification System, and other DoD Spectrum management software.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret security clearance or inactive with ability to be reinstated

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on the needs of the client.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent technical writing skills and proven experience in systems with complex requirements.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to team with others to meet project objectives.
  • Understanding of the system development lifecycle as implemented with Agile; SAFe knowledge a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to navigate in an office setting unassisted.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Strong speaking skills, including the ability to articulate thoughts in a clear manner and excellent word enunciation skills, are required.
