Job Description
We are looking for a Systems Analyst 2 to join our team. This position will be a full-time contract and Remote.
What You’ll Do
Database Management: Manage database systems and oversee data migration, with a strong emphasis on healthcare EHR systems, particularly those involving complex integrations like Cerner Millennium
Database Scripting: Utilize Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting for efficient migration of data to new SaaS platforms. Skills in using EXCEL, Word, Visio, and other spreadsheet software are essential
Business Analysis: Review, analyze, and evaluate user requirements, operational procedures, and identify solutions to automate processes or enhance system functionality
Documentation: Document business process flows and standardize existing and future process flow improvements through data collection and meetings with subject matter experts to gain full understanding of system usability
Specifications Preparation: Prepare specifications for data input/output processes
Problem Solving: Resolve complex data-related issues using robust analytical skills and logical problem-solving approaches
Communication: Produce clear project documentation and engage effectively with stakeholders through exceptional oral and written communication skills
Team Collaboration: Support diverse teams and inspire high productivity and collaboration among team members with strong interpersonal abilities
Industry Knowledge: Apply in-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends and market insights strategically within the organization
Architectural Expertise: Utilize architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information systems, applications, and organizational structure
What You'll Need
Required:
7 Years: Database management systems and data migration, with a strong emphasis on healthcare EHR systems, particularly those involving complex integrations like Cerner Millennium
7 Years: Experience in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting, crucial for the efficient migration of data to new SaaS platforms. Also, skill in using EXCEL, Word, Visio, and other spreadsheet software
7 Years: Business analysis, including reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and identifying solutions to automate processes or enhance system functionality
7 Years: Experience in documenting business process flows and standardizing existing and future process flow improvements by conducting data collection and meetings with subject matter experts to gain full understanding of system usability
7 Years: Preparing specifications for data input/output processes
7 Years: Resolving complex data-related issues using robust analytical skills and logical problem-solving approaches
7 Years: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, essential for producing clear project documentation and engaging effectively with stakeholders
7 Years: Strong interpersonal abilities to support diverse teams and inspire high productivity and collaboration among team members
7 Years: In-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends and market insights, applying them strategically within the organization
7 Years: Architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information systems, applications, and organizational structure
Preferred:
2 Years: Prior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations
2 Years: Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates
2 Years: Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components
2 Years: Experience in regulatory compliance and data security related to healthcare data
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
