Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Printing/Publishing industry. This role is based in Columbus, Ohio and can be performed remotely, with occasionally required onsite visits.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently apply payments, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

• Deliver excellent customer service by responding to requests for statements/invoices.

• Carry out collections calls, ensuring prompt payment and resolution of any issues.

• Utilize NetSuite software for processing and record-keeping tasks.

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to maintain good standing.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for certain tasks and reporting.

• Handle account reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate.

• Perform billing duties, ensuring all charges are accurately recorded and billed.

• Assist with cash collections and cash applications as necessary.

• Handle commercial collections, ensuring all outstanding debts are collected. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar financial position

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts receivable (AR) processes

• Experience in billing procedures and cash applications

• Knowledge of cash collections and commercial collections practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting

• Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks and NetSuite

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information responsibly

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
