Summary:
The Senior Audit Manager directs and manages audit teams and activities for assigned, specialized business units.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Determines, prioritizes and monitors risk management.
Ensures audit goals and objectives are met.
Develops, implements and monitors audit test plans to ensure the adequacy of the system of internal controls, fair presentation of the financial statements, adherence to bank policies and procedures and compliance with governmental regulations.
Directly manages a team of colleagues from a Human Resources perspective, working to develop colleagues through goal setting, performance reviews and coaching.
Directs and participates in special projects, management requested reviews, due diligence reviews, consulting engagements, technical projects and fraud investigations.
Develops and implements a continuous auditing/monitoring mechanism to remain current on all issues impacting assigned area of responsibility.
Serves as an effective business advisor.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
10+ years of audit or risk experience
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or other advanced degree
Leadership experience
Strong working knowledge of applicable regulatory guidance
Ability to work in a fast paced, complex, results driven environment, and to readily adapt to changes
Expert organizational, written and verbal communication skills, ability to independently engage with management at all levels
Conflict management experience
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)

Compensation Range:
93,000-189,000 annually
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
