Job Summary
The Business Process Analyst or Business Process Analyst Sr. (Intermediate) will play a supporting role in performing analysis and providing insights leveraging process data from across AEP. This role will be engaged in subsequent process improvement and value realization measurement, including KPI / metric development and monitoring in collaboration with business partners. The role will work closely with business partners to understand KPIs and the supporting frameworks for the purposes of sustainability.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Perform analysis and create insights leveraging enterprise process data. Develop and measure subsequent KPIs in collaboration with the business unit to measuring ongoing value to AEP.
Drive and implement designed process workflows using process data in collaboration with business partners.
Define and monitor performance metrics (Key Performance Indicators) to measure process improvement effectiveness.
Develop and conduct employee training sessions that will train employees on process change, roles and responsibilities, and system standards and requirements.
Collect organizational feedback and file process change documentation in an organized and repeatable fashion.
Map out proposed processes with a broad and high level outlook over the entire organization. Need unbiased outlook in seeing what is best for the organization as a whole.
Evaluate real and potential risks to projects or process implementation.
Develop reports and presentations for higher level management.
Help coach and develop lower-level team members to improve their skill level and achieve goals.
Minimum Requirements:
Business Process Analyst (SG6):
Education: Minimum of Associate's Degree in Project Management, Business Process, Business, or related field.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management or business analytics.
OR
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Six (6) years of experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management or business analytics.
Business Process Analyst Senior (SG7):
Education: Minimum of Associate's Degree in Project Management, Business Process, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management or business analytics.
OR
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Eight (8) years of experience in continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management or business analytics.
Preferred Requirements:
These are additional expectations for the job and could include specific work experience, license / certifications, preemployment testing, expectations about travel, shift work, etc.
Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Power Apps, PowerBI, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
Strong communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of AEP management.
Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company’s Corporate Compliance Policy
Participate in establishing a healthy culture of continuous Process Improvement
Compensation:
Business Process Analyst (SG6): $72,380.00-$90,474.50
Business Process Analyst Senior (SG7): $85,081.00-$106,352.50
