Electrical Engineer

Description

Actalent is currently hiring an Electrical Engineer for an MEP consulting firm in Columbus, OH. This is a Direct Hire full-time job opportunity that allows you to work on a hybrid schedule (2 days remote).

Project types: Healthcare, Distribution centers, Warehouses, Industrial, Institutional, Retail, and International.

Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, and industrial projects within Revit or AutoCAD.

Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical systems and gather project requirements.

Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.

Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and coordination studies.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.

Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information).

Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.

Skills & Qualifications

6-11 Years experience in consulting engineering for buildings

Knowledge of and proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit is required

E.I./P.E. is preferred

LEED AP is preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $120000.00
