Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Mailroom Associate in Columbus, OH. The role involves handling and sorting mail, reviewing utility invoices, and ensuring compliance with department and customer procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Extracting mail from envelopes and organizing utility bills before scanning.

• Ensuring that utility invoices adhere to the procedures set by the department and customers.

• Taking note of bills that do not meet the set standards, attaching reject forms and forwarding them for review.

• Keeping up to date with new or updated customer and departmental procedures, and discarding old procedures as necessary.

• Handling minor troubleshooting for the mail opening machine.

• Maintaining a neat and detail-oriented work area at all times.

• Using customer service skills to address issues and provide solutions.

• Managing time effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

• Handling overtime work as required to ensure all accounts are completed in a timely manner.

• Performing other tasks as required or assigned.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service

• Thorough understanding of various Procedures

• Familiarity with Invoice Review

• Experience in Supervising

• Knowledge of the software 'About Time'

• Ability to work in a fast-paced Production environment

• Experience in Check Processing

• Ability to Troubleshoot issues

• Proficiency in using Spreadsheets

• Strong Time Management skills

• Ability to Ensure Compliance with rules and regulations

• Willingness to work Overtime

• Experience in Sort Incoming Mail

• Previous experience in a Mailroom is preferred

• Ability to work in a Production Environment

• Knowledge of Department Procedures

• Familiarity with ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgage)

• Experience in QA (Quality Assurance) Management TalentMatch®
