The Durable Restoration Company is looking to hire a working Foreman who is experienced with historic mortars and has a broad understanding of traditional masonry construction. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and who has a drive for high quality restoration and preservation. 

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be knowledgeable in best practices and processes commonly used to achieve a quality final product.

• Must be able to manage a 3-to-4-person crew to complete projects on time, and at or under budget.

• Must be reliable and a strong positive leader

• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening

• Must be able and willing to travel as needed for 2  weeks at a time. (Travel expenses and per-diem paid)

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check

  PREFERRED TRAITS:

• Experience with historic and lime based Mortars

• Knowledge of traditional building techniques

• Ability to work through unexpected problems and present viable options 

• Ability to navigate and resolve on-site personnel management issues

• Ability to forecast accurate completion times and material needs for the project

• Knowledge of skills and processes of other traditional trades is a plus

• Experience with Procore or similar project management software
