Our Opening and Your Responsibilities The Masstron Producing Organization (MTMS) designs, develops, and produces products within the METTLER TOLEDO Vehicle and Heavy Capacity product families and serves in direct support of the Vehicle Scale Strategic Business Unit which develops and implements the strategic direction of the global vehicle scale product line. The Floor Scale team requires a safe working, detail-oriented material handler that can carry out most of the material handling for the value stream. They will be responsible for ensuring the production team has all the materials, tools, and resources to complete their jobs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Understand and navigate the building using our storage location system. Deliver parts from Floor Scale Fabrication to the appropriate locations. Effectively manage all weld cells by pulling parts in the correct order, ensuring all of the parts in the BOM are available and made to print. Replenish materials and supplies in order to keep welders busy. Hang completed weldments onto the monorail. Document disturbances. Work with the Inventory Manager to ensure our inventory aligns with SAP by submitting material shortages and outages. Deliver kits from our Floor Scale kitting area to our Floor Scale Assembly line. Unload the paint line and deliver to assembly. Cross train with the Floor Scale Assembly and Shipping teams. Safely operate fork trucks and cranes. Actively participate in facility 5S and Lean initiatives. Perform daily activities safely in regards to own self as well as others and in wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Assist in identifying improvement opportunities. Other duties may be assigned.
