WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM NEWS Required Qualifications Experience: Experience forecasting and presenting weathercasts - 2+ years, working knowledge of TV weather graphics systems Education: Bachelor's degree in Meteorology Technical Skills: Knowledge of synoptic meteorology, tropical and radar Skills: Ability to anticipate situations, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities Abilities: Demonstrate enthusiasm in dealing with breaking news Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community Schedule: Ability to work different shifts or longer shifts due to "breaking news" and severe weather emergencies.
