Robert Half Production Planner in Commerce, California
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Aerospace industry for a Production Planner to join our team in Commerce, California. The Production Planner will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the production schedule, ensuring an efficient flow of parts through manufacturing, and effectively communicating with various departments to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage the production schedule to ensure timely and efficient flow of parts through manufacturing
• Review and take necessary actions on MRP exception messages
• Perform data entry tasks including move tickets, work orders, scrap and other manufacturing processes
• Contribute to planning and scheduling activities to meet customer delivery requirements and the company business plan
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports using Syteline
• Follow up on released jobs as needed
• Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to address any delays in sending and receiving products back from outside vendors
• Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are maintained for a safe working environment
• Utilize various systems and software including CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and Cargowise for efficient and accurate planning and scheduling. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Production Planner role within the Aerospace industry is required
• Proven skills in Business Systems and Cargowise are essential
• Demonstrable experience with CRM is necessary
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required
• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is crucial
• Familiarity with About Time software is a plus
• Ability to perform Billing Functions effectively
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal are required
• Strong Customer Service skills are necessary
• Experience with Customs procedures within the Aerospace industry is beneficial
• Expertise in Production Planning and Production Scheduling is mandatory
• Prior experience in the Manufacturing Industry is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with SyteLine software is advantageous TalentMatch®
