Public Partnerships LLC Director of Engineering - Remote US in Concord, New Hampshire

Public Partnerships LLC supports individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses and aging adults, to remain in their homes and communities and “self-direct” their own long-term home care. Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Engineering Managers and Software Engineers to develop and enhance the products from concept to implementation to product go-live.

  • Research, Evaluate and Incorporate New Technologies and tools to enhance the Product Engineering Processes.

  • Independently identify and realize strategies that deliver significant value to our customers and business.

  • Hold a high bar for execution and quality and lead your organization to deliver results consistently and sustainably.

  • Guide technical strategy, ensuring that your teams are delivering long-term value aligned with public partnership’s business priorities.

  • Partner closely with your respective Design, Product and Business counterparts to build best in class products and bring them to market.

  • Build a best-in-class engineering team. Coach, mentor and create an environment where your team can do their best work and deliver for the business.

  • Play an integral role in influencing and shaping Public Partnership’s engineering culture and strategy.

  • Implement best-in-class tools and technologies, processes and practices in DevOps, quality engineering (QE) and professional services to continuously enhance the value provided to clients.

  • Lead and develop program technical solutions/innovations and products, including the design/development of proof-of-concepts and implementation of designed products.

  • Maintain technology standards across all programs to align with organizational technology standards.

  • Provide input into project schedules, risks and resource constraints.

Required Skills:

15+ years of engineering experience in the Healthcare Space working with CMS, Medicaid Agencies, HIEs and Commercial Health Plans, with deep experience working on complex products in a high growth environment.

Passion for leading, coaching and building an inspired team through setting vision, unlocking potential, and driving compassionate accountability.

Strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and iteration.

Effective communicator. Able to influence cross functional stakeholders and at all levels.

Operates at multiple altitudes, from developing vision and strategy to driving execution.

Previous startup experience or worked in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action.

Experience in Java , J2EE , C# , .Net , Oracle, MySQL , Mongo DB, Snowflake, Data Bricks, Azure/AWS, Power BI, modern/lightweight cloud-native applications, Machine Learning Docker and Kubernetes.

DevOps services and Azure DevOps Experience.

Experience with quality engineering and assurance, with knowledge of how quality fits into agile and CI/CD, and what quality means across industries.

Ability to manage and motivate large and fast-growing teams of 50+ people, including mentoring and developing both senior and junior talent.

Experienced in estimating work, deliverables, and timelines for project plans.

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • The base pay listed may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for a performance-based incentive as part of total compensation.
