Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Science Teacher to join our educational team at the Coon Rapids Bayard Community School District. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves developing lesson plans, engaging students in the learning process, and assessing their progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience and facilitate student engagement.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
• Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Provide individualized support to students based on their unique learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
• Engage in research activities that contribute to curriculum development and educational best practices.
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, and faculty regarding student progress and classroom activities.

• Proficiency in learning technology tools that support teaching and learning processes.
• Expertise in lesson planning that caters to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques to maintain a productive classroom environment.
• Experience in higher education teaching or working with high school students is preferred.

• Ability to assess student performance through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
