Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
As a member of the Manufacturing team, the Production Operator will contribute by performing various tasks related to the ongoing manufacture of high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Responsibilities include the execution of manufacturing documents and a variety of large-scale API manufacturing tasks such as weighing and dispensing chemicals, conducting chemical reactions at high temperatures and pressures, mixing, filtering, drying, packaging, and cleaning. The goal is to achieve the prescribed levels of purity, quality, and consistency in product and work output.
Responsibilities
Execute manufacturing documents related to the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
Weigh and dispense chemicals accurately.
Conduct chemical reactions at high temperatures and pressures.
Mix, filter, dry, and package products according to specifications.
Ensure all products meet the required purity, quality, and consistency standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work environment.
Operate basic electronic equipment and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Essential Skills
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Competence in operating basic electronic equipment and possessing basic computer skills.
Experience interacting with Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Physical ability to exert force continuously and/or lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment or regulated industry.
College coursework in science.
Compounding experience.

Work Environment
The work environment involves performing tasks related to the manufacture of high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients. The shift schedule is Team A, working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with the following week working Wednesday and Thursday, from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. The role requires adherence to cGMP standards and involves handling chemicals at high temperatures and pressures, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
