This position is part of the Operations Process Engineering Department located in Coralville, Iowa and will be on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debates, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Monitor, trend, analyze and improve process KPI’s. Identify and implement improvements to existing monitoring
Assist in defining process including Process Capability, Methods and Standard Work
Provide engineering analysis and documentation to support process deployment, transfer and ramp into manufacturing
Conduct manufacturing and project reviews through preparation of, but not limited to, Process Maps, FMEA, and Risk-Mitigation Plans
Support in solving technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause through design of experiments and working cross functionally with other teams in the organization
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree, in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, computer science or engineering
Basic analysis or statistics experience
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, PSP, DMAIC, or similar problem-solving methodology
Benchtop laboratory or lab automation experience
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
CRISPR, NGS, qPCR, or other biological assays involving oligos
JMP software data analysis
Ability to develop and sustain productive work relationships with support groups and internal stakeholders
