What will you do?

The Employee Relations Advisor is a part of the greater HR team, responsible for employee relations services across the various VF businesses This role reports into the Senior Manager of Employee Relations in Costa Mesa, CA.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Provide employees with support and guidance to address their concerns in areas including teamwork, communication, and leadership among others.

• Support managers with associate development by providing guidance on coaching, counseling, and performance management.

• Conduct internal investigations on workplace situations and prepares all required documentation with a focus on issue resolution within assigned region/area.

• Partner with managers on the development of corrective action and implementation of performance improvement plans.

• Responsible for preparing and delivering separation documents to employees leaving involuntarily.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-3 years of experience and professional achievements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related fields preferred

• Understanding of retail operations is a plus

• Proficient PC skills (Excel, Word, Reporting, etc.)

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

• Travel by air and overnight, as required 5%+ amount of time VF locations amount of time.

$62,208.00 USD - $77,760.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
