North Star Mutual Insurance Company is looking for an individual to work in the areas of Windows operating systems, networking, VMware, SQL, Office365 and/or SAN administration. This role could include using 3rd party tools to collect and identify performance bottlenecks in our systems. It could also include security optimization by analyzing security alerts, identifying vulnerable systems and recommending beneficial changes to our security posture. This role will allow the individual to focus on their areas of interest and experience, while learning other areas as time allows. Individuals with excellent problem-solving ability, a strong desire to learn new skills and exceptional communication skills are encouraged to apply. Related education and/or experience for this position is required. This is a full-time in-office position. While a variety of factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skillset, level of education and/or experience will be taken into consideration, it is anticipated this position will start at $65,000.00 per year. This role may be eligible for a merit increase annually and is eligible for our profit-sharing bonus plan. Starting Range $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 annually.
