ManpowerGroup Data Scientist in Cupertino, California

Our client, a cutting-edge technology company, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. As a Data Scientist, you will be part of the Data Engineering team supporting Battery Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Snowflake, Python, SQL, Airflow, DBT, Conductor, and experience working with big data.

What's the Job?

  • Deliver high-quality analytic insights from a large data warehouse, especially time series data

  • Write Python programs to implement Machine Learning functions and maintain revision in Github

  • Utilize advanced technologies for modeling enhancements

  • Automate reporting where possible to make the team more efficient

  • Analyze factory, user, and failure data and use engineering understanding mechanisms to resolve battery problems

What's Needed?

  • 6+ years as a data scientist, data engineer, or analyst. Battery Engineering experience desired

  • Working knowledge and experience with big data

  • Strong working knowledge of Snowflake, Python, SQL, Airflow, and Tableau

  • Solid competency in statistics and the ability to provide value-added analysis

  • Familiar with machine learning algorithm and capable to use proper metrics to evaluate model results
