We are looking for highly motivated students to join our team. As an SoC Power Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for power analysis and optimization for lower power SoC design and implementation. The main responsibility of your role is to drive the design optimization for very power efficient product.

Description

Imagine yourself at the center of our SOC design effort, collaborating with all fields, playing a strategic role of getting functional products to millions of customers quickly. In this role your responsibilities will include: - Execute the power analysis to improve SoC power efficiency in our products. - Develop new techniques for low power simulation data analysis. - Work with methodology team to develop and improve power analysis flow. - Work with design verification team on power vectors for power simulation. - Work with architects and implementation teams to improve the data analysis flow

Minimum Qualifications

    • Strong object-oriented design skills, coupled with a deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms
    • Prove scripting expertise in, Python / Perl for wide deployment across different geographic location and groups.
    • You should have experience in low power ASIC design implementation, Power simulation and analysis flow, and ASIC physical design methodology.
    • Familiarity the power model and impact at architecture, block and circuit levels
    • Familiarity with scripting or C/C++ programming
    • Familiarity with low power logic implementation and power optimization a plus

    • Familiarity with statistics and data analysis
    • Strong communication skills are a pre-requisite as you will collaborate with a lot of different groups

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
