Prepares salads, desserts, drinks, etc. for patient meal service according to defined recipes and menus for customers as written by the dietary manager. Prepares all food under safe and sanitary conditions. Prepares food in a timely manner according to recipes to produce the best quality product. The Dietary Aide scheduled for the patient tray line is responsible for preparing food items and filling patients’ meal tray according to menu and dietary restrictions. The Dietary Aide scheduled for the cafeteria is responsible for preparing food items as defined by the menu and following the tasks list as outlined below. Performs daily cleaning as assigned. Completes all forms as designated (e.g., sanitizer solution, storeroom, dish machine temperatures and refrigeration monitors.)
