The College of Dentistry is looking for a Clinic Services Associate to serve in the department of Oral Surgery. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. What you need to know
Proposed Salary: starting at $19.56 hourly
Work Schedule/Location: Located in Dallas, TX, this an on-site role with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.

Qualifications
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience in a general office setting.
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Knowledge of standard office protocol and the use of standard office equipment.
Knowledge of the use of a multi-line phone system.
Responsibilities
Patient Interaction: Greets patients and schedules appointments in person or by phone. Confers with patient regarding current charges and answers any questions they may have. Collects payments for services. Confirms all scheduled appointments 48 hours in advance for Facial Pain, Sleep Medicine, and Center for Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. Supports other front desk activities as needed for multiple clinics.
Data Management: Update patient demographics in the electronic dental record while maintaining security and confidentiality of patient information and finances/payments while maintaining a computerized appointments system for multiple doctors in accordance with distributed calendars, guidelines, and individual requests.
Other Support: Acts as backup/fill in for other front desk personnel or assistants in the clinic. Answers billing questions posed by patients, and other general questions about the clinics. Develops a working understanding of practice and procedures at the clinic and clearly conveys them to patients while addressing all questions in a professional and coherent manner.
