The Guidewire Policy Center v10 Architect will be instrumental in designing and implementing solutions using the latest features of Guidewire Policy Center. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of version 10 features, modules, and integration patterns. The architect will lead the technical design efforts, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and IT strategy while driving forward the capabilities of our Guidewire platform.
The candidate should be able to work from the Client`s office at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities
Translates business needs to technical solutions within Policy Center v10
Leads product modeling reviews and technical configurations for new products
Stays current on Policy Center v10 features and assesses their impact
Ensures adherence to best practices across the Guidewire ecosystem
Configures and extends products, screens, flows, and rules using Guidewire Studio
Leverages accelerators and proven architectural patterns
Manages application configuration, releases, and upgrades
Maintains production and non-production environments
Provides technical leadership, project allocations, and oversight
Manages the overall technical solution design and delivery
Tracks progress and provides visibility through development tools
Works with Project Management and Analysis teams for scoping and planning
Provides guidance to the QA team for test case development
Collaborates with Guidewire, vendors, and other teams for a cohesive platform
Manages and governs engineering standards for security, logging, deployment, etc
Ensures GUnit test cases and CI/CD pipelines with high code coverage
Automates deployments to reduce manual tasks
Maintains technical documentation including architecture and deployment diagrams
Manages production applications and troubleshoots availability and performance issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field strongly preferred
Minimum of 8+ years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center development as a Technical Lead with a minimum of three end-to-end commercial policy product implementations
Strong and demonstrable leadership and application ownership (post-implementation) with Guidewire Policy Center product implementations is required
8+ years of experience leading and managing onshore/offshore development teams for one or multiple Guidewire product implementations
8+ years of experience in Guidewire Software Suite of applications
Java development experience. Certification in Guidewire Policy Center with demonstrated hands-on experience is preferred
Demonstrated expertise and experience with Guidewire APIs, Product Designer, GX Model, Integrations, and Product Model development
Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with the Guidewire Rating engine, Rating workbooks, and Rating logic configurations
Experience with Guidewire Renewal API with an overall knowledge of data migration approach is highly preferred
Experience and hands-on implementation with Guidewire Policy Center integrations and integration patterns are highly preferred
Experience is required with ALM best practices in managing code versioning (and associated environments), integration, releasing, and maintaining Guidewire Policy Center products (during development and in production as application owner)
Experience with installing, partitioning, and managing Guidewire suite applications for high performance, scalability, and reuse
Knowledge of secure software development practices and expert understanding of architectural standards, patterns, and best practices with respect to Guidewire configuration and integration is required
Knowledge of Commercial P&C insurance highly preferred
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate through and lead teams to solutions
Experienced with Agile SCRUM methodology and tooling (TFS, Rally, JIRA, etc.) in a technical owner/development track lead capacity
Experience managing work within a DevOps environment, including Builds, CI/CD Pipelines, Version Control, etc
