Neenah Foundry Company IT Business Analyst / Maximo - ITBUS001214-00002 in dallas, Texas

The Maximo Business Analyst will provide leadership and support in delivering technology and information solutions that enhance productivity, lower costs, and improve information delivery for Operations in Neenah Foundry's three plants. By identifying improvement opportunities in Maximo systems and focusing on developing solutions, the company expects to maximize value from its technology investments. This person will work closely with operations staff and corporate leadership to define and implement effective business process enhancements and technology solutions.

System Development and Optimization

  • Lead business process and system development for Maximo CMMS
  • Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines and milestones
  • Document business functions, technical specifications, and reporting requirements
  • Ensure efficient Maximo usage through user support, documentation, and training
  • Maintain system setup, configurations, and documentation for optimal performance
  • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements

User Support and Communication

  • Support client groups in identifying issues and providing solutions
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Relay application issues to key stakeholders
  • Serve as Maximo Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system testing and signoff

Reporting and Data Management

  • Develop reporting and KPIs for reliability initiatives
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting, data queries, and dashboards
  • Establish data standards for common processes and reports

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate and enhance current practices to maximize Maximo value
  • Encourage innovation and share best practices to improve productivity

Multi-site Implementation

  • Develop strategy for Maximo rollout across three sites
  • Create project plan with timelines and resource allocation
  • Configure Maximo for multi-site operations
  • Plan and execute data migration from existing systems
  • Implement integration with other enterprise systems

Site-Specific Customization and Training

  • Identify and implement site-specific customizations
  • Develop site-specific workflows, reports, and KPIs
  • Create training materials and conduct sessions for each location
  • Execute change management plan for smooth adoption

Performance and Governance

  • Optimize Maximo performance across multi-site environment
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between sites
  • Develop governance policies for consistency across sites
  • Establish standards for data entry and process workflows

Expected Areas of Competence (KSAs)

  • Experience with and knowledge of CMMS Systems, specifically the IBM Maximo 7.6 and higher version.
  • Knowledge of Windows-based hardware and software applications, including Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Experience in advanced SQL and in writing advanced
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent client relations and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP Software
  • Knowledge of SAP is
  • Maximo integration experience is a plus

This position description is intended to cover the most significant, ongoing job functions and competency areas. Successful performance in the role will require performing satisfactorily other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 4-Year Degree in Information Sciences or related curriculum or 2-Year Degree in Information Technology and a minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience with IBM Maximo implementation working as a Functional Consultant/Business Analyst
  • 5 years of additional IT experience in implementing and supporting Enterprise IT systems

Physical Requirements

Travel Requirements

Up to 25% travel may be required to other Neenah Foundry Company locations.
